About Services Team Alerts Contact

Lighthill PC publishes a small, read-only API so that AI agents and developer tools can read our trade alerts and firm information directly. It is a Model Context Protocol server over Streamable HTTP: every operation is a JSON-RPC 2.0 message POSTed to one endpoint. No key or account is required, and nothing is written; auth.md states this for agents that look for registration instructions.

Endpoint

POST https://www.lighthill.law/mcp with Content-Type: application/json. Supported methods are initialize, tools/list, and tools/call. A GET returns 405.

Tools

  • list_trade_alerts — every alert with date, title, summary, and URL, newest first. No arguments.
  • read_trade_alert — the full text of one alert. Argument: url (alert URL or slug).
  • contact_lighthill — email, phone, address, and LinkedIn for the firm. No arguments.

Example

curl -X POST https://www.lighthill.law/mcp \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"tools/call",
       "params":{"name":"list_trade_alerts","arguments":{}}}'

Results come back as MCP content blocks: result.content[0].text holds JSON for list and contact calls and plain text for a single alert.
